Mr Okwudili Nnagbo
According to our South-East reporters, Mr Okwudili Nnagbo (pictured
above), who hails from Nri in Anaocha LGA of Anambra State was yesterday
apprehended by the police just after he boarded an escape aircraft
flying to South Africa via the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja - Lagos.
After he was arrested by policemen of the Anti Robbery Squad, Awka, Mr
Nnagbo said he had been in the kidnapping business for many years which
made him unable to remember how many people he had kidnapped.
According to the arrested kidnapper, he said he had sincerely quit the
business when his cousin in South Africa asked him to come over and
start life afresh. Nnagbo believed he had covered his tracks only for
him to get caught at the point of leaving the country.
